Rebrowse Recorder is a screen recording and workflow automation extension with a single purpose: to enable users to record their screen interactions and convert them into shareable, executable workflow automations. All data collection and processing is limited to supporting this core functionality.

Data Collection & Usage Disclosure

To enable workflow automation and browser sync, Rebrowse Recorder may collect the following user data:

• Session cookies and login state: Used only to replicate workflows on the Rebrowse Cloud Browser
• Recorded interactions: Navigation steps, clicks, typed input, and copy/paste actions used only to create and replay workflows you explicitly record
• Authentication data: Used only for secure login to your Rebrowse account

We do not sell or share data with third parties. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

Consent and Control

Consent Required: Before any data is collected, you will be asked for explicit permission. You may revoke access at any time from the extension settings.

• Consent prompts appear before recording or syncing any data
• You can disable Workflow Recording and Browser Sync individually in the extension options
• Revoking consent immediately stops collection and clears granted permissions

Opt-Out and Offline Mode

You can opt out of data collection from within the extension at any time:

• Turn off Workflow Recording to prevent capture of interactions
• Turn off Browser Sync to prevent session cookies/login state syncing
• Use Offline Mode to store recordings locally only; nothing is uploaded until you choose to sync

Information We Collect

To provide our screen recording and workflow automation service, we collect the following types of data:

• Screen Recording Data: Visual content, mouse movements, clicks, and keyboard inputs captured during your recording sessions
• Web Browsing Activity: URLs, page elements, and user interactions on websites - collected only during active recording sessions and solely for the purpose of generating workflow automations

• Technical Data: Browser type, operating system, IP address, and extension version for functionality and security purposes
• Usage Analytics: Information about how you use the extension features to improve our service

Important: We only collect web browsing activity during active recording sessions initiated by you, and this data is used exclusively to create workflow automations as prominently described in our extension's functionality.
